DESCRIPTION

(English) Featuring a 15m volumetric detector the KX15DD offers a great coverage range. The dual element PIR within the KX15DD digitally monitors the surrounding environment to adjust its sensitivity to changing levels in infra-red light and background temperature.

Blue Wave technology further improves the detector's immunity to infrared noise in the environment. The main components of Blue Wave technology include a new 3D optics system that allows perfect concentration of the infrared signal on the pyroelectric sensor, digital temperature compensation that digitally adjusts the sensitivity of the detector to maintain its efficiency, powerful software embedded in a microprocessor that processes the information received from the pyroelectric sensor; the result of this combination is a reduced amplification of the infrared signal noise and therefore better immunity that allows the detector to be installed in all types of residential and professional environments.
